At Mountain Ridge Dog Pack, we are fully committed to your dog’s well-being and happiness. Our Dog Camp offers a unique opportunity for your dog to let loose, explore the outdoors, and socialize with other like-minded pups. This isn’t your typical dog daycare—it’s an off-leash hiking experience designed for friendly, well-behaved dogs who love adventure!
Each day, we pick up your dog from your home and take them to a safe, off-leash areas where they can hike, swim, play, and engage in natural canine behaviors like sniffing and socializing. Not only does this allow your dog to have fun, but it also puts them in real-world situations, making them more confident and better trained by the time they return home.
Our dog camp runs for approximately four hours each day, and offering far more than a traditional doggie daycare. We keep our pack small to ensure that each dog receives personalized attention, additional training, and the chance to build stronger social skills. Your dog will come home happy, relaxed, better trained and ready for the next adventure!
Emma founded Mountain Ridge Dog Pack with her beloved dog, Franklin, in mind. For Emma, like many dog owners, Franklin is more than just a pet—he’s a true family member. She is dedicated to providing her pack with the love, training, exercise, and adventure they need to live their best lives. Emma is a graduate of the My Dog Camp course, an in-depth program that specializes in healthy dog socialization, obedience, and relaxation training.
After an extensive 8-month hands-on shadowing experience at Dog Camp with Emma, Tiffany officially joined the Mountain Ridge Dog Pack team in 2023. As an additional Pack Leader and Office Manager, she plays a key role in running camp and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Tiffany’s German Shepherd, Dexter, is one of our original campers, making him an integral part of the MRDP family. Tiffany has quickly become an invaluable member of the team, bringing passion and dedication to the program. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending quality time with Dexter.

With a pack that frequently explores off leash, we work to sharpen your dog's recall skills. You can trust and rely on your dog's recall on adventures outside of dog camp.
Dog Camp is for well behaved dogs and, unlike a doggie daycare, camp is not for every dog. Read below to see if your dog would be a good candidate to join the pack.
Ideally, camp dogs are used to being off-leash with their owners. Although we work on improving recall at camp, your dog needs to have an understanding of a recall before attending. Camp is usually not a good fit if your dog runs away often and does not come back when called.
Dog camp can only accept friendly dogs. Dogs that love other dogs and people are ideal candidates for camp. Does your dog have doggie friends? If so, that means they are one step closer to joining the pack.
Being able to ride well in the car is important; camp dogs all ride in the car together and should feel comfortable sharing their space.
In order for dogs to attend camp, they need to be at least a year old. This age requirement is to protect your dog's growth plates. If your dog is not quite a year old, reach out and get on our waitlist so they can join as soon as they are old enough.
If you answered yes to the three questions above, fill out the form below to set up the next steps in order for your dog to join the pack!
